THE CLUB EXCELLENCE AWARD PROGRAM

The OSA has announced the appointment of new staff. These Soccer Development Coordinators (SDC’s) will work across the province to help Soccer Clubs develop their organization as well as they are there to work closely and help serve the soccer community in their assigned areas.

All SDC’s were inducted into the OSA by going through a vigorous 3 days filled with presentations and discussions from all areas of the OSA (Technical, Finance, Member Services, Competitions, IT etc.) in order to be properly equipped and well know ledged to handle questions or concerns.

The SDC’s have a clear work program based around the promotion of Club Excellence, reviewing the need for specific workshops and the collection of base line data.

This is an exciting time as we begin to energize the Club Volunteers and recognize the work your clubs are doing. Club Excellence is a Province-wide award program introduced by the OSA to recognize clubs that are being run efficiently and that offer a safe, healthy and enjoyable soccer program for everyone involved.

The Club Excellence Award Program is designed for ALL clubs and we encourage ALL clubs to take part in getting their Clubs acknowledged for their well run organizations.   

A presentation introducing Club Excellence has been made to the Board of Directors of the North York Soccer Association and we fully support and endorse this Program throughout the district.
